 Express TV-Production is a Copenhagen based independent production company specialized in historical and scientific documentaries for a Danish and international audience. Express has several times co-produced with Nordic broadcasters - DR Denmark, NRK (Norway) and YLE (Finland) – one of the productions is “Shadows of the Past” – about reconciliation in Cambodia, South Africa and Guatemala, an other the internationally awarded: “The Miraculous Poison – The history of DDT”.
The awarded historical serie: “100 Years of Immigration” a historical series of 6 programmes about how emigrants in the 20th century coped with the Danish society - and how the Danes coped with them, is also an express-TV production.
The latest production is the awarded historical serie "Late Lessons From early Warnings", eight programs about the the global environment in the 20th Century. |

| International Prize | The three films "At the Bottom of the World" has been accepted at several international filmfestivals in Europe and US. "When the Rain Fails" received a special prize at Envirofilm2008 in May. "The Beggars in Addis" has been screened at Hazel Wolf filmfestival May in Seattle, US, and has been selected among 1890 films for screening at Krakow Filmfestival in June.
The story about the Atomic Bomb "A Deterrent Weapon" has been screened at Techfilm in Prag and at Ecovision, Palermo Italy in june. |
